Scope and budget
Support at €800 excl. VAT per day or €150 excl. VAT per hour. We agree on reserved time and scope before starting. No mandatory monthly retainer; urgent requests are agreed separately.
Advisory work is billed by the hour or day. Project pricing depends on scope, integrations and your existing systems. We agree on these before work begins.

Priorities conflict, responsibilities are unclear or delivery is becoming hard to predict. We review how work is organised, how decisions are made and how progress is tracked.
Your product is entering a new phase
You need perspective on architecture, technical debt or delivery capacity before investing further. The assessment leads to priorities that both leadership and the team can understand.

My role is not to select a technology without explaining the reasoning. I connect technical decisions to usage, your business model and constraints. We make trade-offs explicit: immediate cost, risks, dependencies, team capacity and future development.
Decisions and deliverables you can work with.
Depending on the engagement, outputs may include a systems assessment, a prioritised roadmap, hiring criteria, clear responsibilities or a delivery plan. We agree on the actual scope together; these are not all automatically included in a single day.
Hiring, managing and supporting the team.
A healthy organisation needs more than tools. It requires clear roles, shared expectations, support for individuals and useful conversations between product, design and engineering. My oncology Engineering Manager experience at Resilience Care covers 10 people across two teams, within a 200-person scale-up and a regulated medical environment.
Before we start
How is a CTO different from a freelance developer?
A CTO also takes responsibility for technical direction, investments and organisation. Development may be part of my engagement, but it does not replace analysis, decision-making and management. We agree on the involvement you need.
How do we get started?
An initial 30-minute conversation helps establish your situation. We then agree on scope, reserved time and the material to review. Access is limited to what the engagement requires.
Do I need a monthly subscription?
No. Advisory work costs €800 per day or €150 per hour, excluding VAT. Regular support is possible depending on your needs and my availability, with an agreed time allocation.
Can you work alongside our team or agency?
Yes. The aim is to clarify direction and collaboration, not automatically replace your people or tools. Responsibilities and communication are agreed at the outset.
